Order Status

What is the status of my order?

Once an order is placed, you will receive an order number and a confirmation email with your order summary. A member of our team will confirm and prepare your order. When ready, you'll receive a confirmation email from us. If you have questions about your order, contact our team


Can I change an order after it has been placed?

We start working on your order as soon as it is placed, so we are unable to make any changes or modifications to an order after it has been placed and confirmed.


How do I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you'll be provided with a tracking number by the shipping company.


Can I request an item to be gift wrapped?

For US shipments, after your order has been placed, contact us within 2-3 hours. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer gift wrap options for orders shipped outside the US.

What payments methods does Desk Hammock accept?

*Please note, PayPal is unavailable to customers in Turkey.


Will I be charged sales tax?

We are required to collect sales tax for Texas deliveries.


When will I be charged?

When you place an order, your credit or debit card is initially charged to ensure funds for the order are available. You will only be charged for the items that are shipped, along with applicable shipping and tax rates. If an item is not available, that portion of your order will be refunded.

These rates are not applicable for orders shipped outside of the US. Please note: Some oversized items may require an additional shipping charge. Free Shipping applies only to merchandise. Taxes do not count towards the Free Shipping total.


How much does it cost to ship outside the US?

Depending on the weight and destination, minimum shipping charges for international orders start from:
$30.00 Economy Shipping*. Arrives in 12-21 business days
$60.00 Express Shipping*. Arrives in 5-7 business days

Most International orders will ship out within 2 business days of ordering. Orders are subject to verification and approval before shipping and may take up to 72 hours to process.

* Express and Economy rates only cover shipping charges. Duties and taxes may be due to the parcel carrier upon delivery. Express delivery is not available for all countries.


When can I expect to receive my order?

Standard shipping for US orders takes an estimated 5-9 business dates. Express shipping takes an estimated 2-3 business days.

Please note that our delivery options refer only to the delivery time frame and not the time required to prepare your order. While more orders are ready for shipping within 1 day of ordering, some orders may take additional time. Orders shipped outside of the contiguous US and to PO boxes are shipped via USPS.


How long will it take my order to ship?

Most orders will ship out within 1 business day of ordering. Orders are subject to verification and approval before shipping and may take up to 48 hours to process. Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. While we will do all we can to ensure your order is delivered on time, Desk Hammock cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond our control such as severe weather, service interruptions, etc.


Can I make changes to my shipping address after I place my order?

We start working on your order immediately, so we are unable to make any changes or modifications to an order after it has been placed.


How do I know if my order has shipped?

For international orders, should I expect to pay duties and taxes for my order?

International orders can be shipped with duties and taxes due upon delivery via our Express or Economy ship methods. These orders may be delivered by your local postal service. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient and these fees are collected at the time of delivery. More information can be obtained by contacting your local customs office.


What qualifies as restricted merchandise?

We are unable to ship certain items outside of the contiguous US. If this applies to your order, we'll let you know after a member of our team has confirmed your order and shipping details with international regulations.

Returns

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Returns and exchanges are accepted only if items are unused, unopened, and still originally sealed in packaging, and sent back following our team's instructions. Please send your request to our customer service team here


I've lost my packing list! How do I return the item?

If you've lost your packing slip and you are the original purchaser, print out your order number and payment record you received by email after ordering. Then, place the product(s) and the printed documents in a securely sealed shipping container. Don’t forget to save a copy of your order number for your records – you can find it in your packing list. Make sure any old labels on your package are removed or obscured and affix your shipping label. Address your package to the address mentioned in the packing list included with your order. Returns must be sent with tracking confirmation. After you have shipped the item back, immediately send us the tracking number here


How do I return my item if I am an international customer?

Place it in a securely sealed shipping container. Don’t forget to save a copy of your order number for your records – you can find it in your packing list. Make sure any old labels on your package are removed or obscured and affix your shipping label. Address your package to the address mentioned in the packing list included with your order. Returns must be sent with tracking confirmation. After you have shipped the item back, immediately send us the tracking number here


What if my product is damaged or defective?

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately and we will help you exchange or return the item.


Can I exchange my order if I'm an international customer?

Unfortunately, exchanges are not available. Items can only be returned for a refund. If you would like a replacement item, please place another order online.


How long will it take for my return or exchange to be processed?

Please allow 2-3 weeks from the time you mail your return/exchange for it to be processed. We will email you once it is processed. If you've requested an exchange, we will contact you with an invoice for the shipping charges on the exchanged item. Once payment has been received, the exchanged item will be shipped to you. If you would like to expedite the exchange process, please return your original item and place a new order for the item you want.

Yes! Our awesome payment processing company go to great lengths to ensure the safety of our customers’ payment information. All payment information is encrypted and connections too.
